Job summary

UPMC’s Heart and Vascular Institute seeks a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (PA or CRNP, Acute Care) to join the vascular surgery team. Primary location is UPMC Passavant with travel to Sewickley and Butler, PA.

The role combines outpatient clinics and hospital rounding in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. Expect a 4 x 10-hour shift schedule with occasional weekend rounding, and a strong emphasis on mentorship, continuing education, and a structured APP career ladder.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care) is required.
• Demonstrated collaboration with surgeons and other health care providers.
• Strong clinical decision making and patient communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in vascular surgery in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with vascular surgeons and APPs to deliver high-quality care.
• Participate in rounds, clinics, and education activities.
