Job Description

This full-time position can be remote work in the states of Washington or California. The role will require some travel to care centers in both states, and the incumbent must be located in one of those states.

The Sr. VBC Manager is responsible for developing and operationalizing value-based care programs that contribute to Privia’s overall strategy. They focus on strategic initiatives in new and existing markets, requiring strong stakeholder engagement and transparency. A key responsibility is owning the attribution domain within our VBC strategy.

Primary Job Duties

  • Act as a subject matter expert on patient attribution and its implications in VBC contracts.
  • Design tools and insights to influence multi-market actions toward attributed member cohorts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance provider-facing tools, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a liaison between market and reporting teams, managing diverse needs and priorities.
  • Balance priorities and facilitate collaborative solutions.
  • Develop processes to onboard and educate providers on VBC principles and tools, using your knowledge of workflows.
  • Foster an engaging learning environment with emotional intelligence.
  • Use project management tools like Monday.com to track initiatives and manage multiple projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • At least 4 years of healthcare experience, preferably in VBC for MSSP, MA, Medicaid, and Commercial.
  • Knowledge of care center workflows.
  • EMR experience required; Athena and Epic preferred.
  • Deep understanding of VBC concepts and provider workflows.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and emotional intelligence skills.
  • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Familiar with project management platforms like Monday.com.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Experience with presentation tools such as Google Slides or PowerPoint.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly.
  • Self-starter with autonomous work capabilities and collaborative mindset.

The salary range is $115,000 - $130,000, excluding bonuses and benefits. The role is eligible for an annual bonus up to 15% and restricted stock units. Base pay will be determined based on experience, education, and location.
