Job Description
This full-time position can be remote in Washington or California. The role will include some travel to care centers in both states.

The Sr. VBC Manager is responsible for developing and operationalizing value-based care programs that contribute to Privia’s overall strategy. They focus on strategic initiatives in new and existing markets, requiring strong stakeholder engagement and transparency. The role also involves owning a critical domain, attribution, within our value-based care strategy.

Primary Job Duties

1. Act as a subject matter expert to influence strategy by developing insights around patient attribution in value-based care contracts.
2. Design tools to influence multi-market actions based on data and organizational insights.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance provider tools, gathering requirements and feedback.
4. Serve as a liaison between market and reporting teams, managing diverse needs and priorities.
5. Balance priorities and drive collaborative solutions.
6. Develop processes to onboard and educate providers on value-based care principles and tools.
7. Foster an engaging learning environment using emotional intelligence.
8. Use project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) to track initiatives and manage multiple projects.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• At least 4 years of healthcare experience, especially in value-based care for MSSP, MA, Medicaid, and Commercial.
• Knowledge of care center workflows and EMR systems (Athena, Epic preferred).
• Deep understanding of value-based care concepts.
• Excellent communication, presentation skills, and emotional intelligence.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with project management tools like Monday.com.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with presentation tools like Google Slides or PowerPoint.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly.
• Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset.

The salary range is $115,000 to $130,000, excluding bonuses and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and wellness programs. An annual bonus targeted at 15% and restricted stock units are also offered. The actual salary will depend on experience, education, and location.
