PEAC Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Valuation Specialist to support our Asset Management organization. This role is responsible for evaluating equipment collateral, establishing residual values, assessing asset risk, and providing market intelligence to support underwriting, pricing, portfolio management, and end-of-term strategies. The ideal candidate brings strong equipment expertise, financial acumen, and an understanding of secondary markets across a variety of asset classes, including construction, industrial, healthcare, and technology equipment, and will partner closely with Sales, Credit, Finance, and Operations to support sound business decisions and effectively manage residual risk.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform equipment valuations for new originations, portfolio reviews, modifications, and end-of-term transactions across a variety of asset classes.
  • Establish, maintain, and review residual value assumptions and matrices based on equipment lifecycles, depreciation, utilization, market liquidity, and expected recovery values.
  • Monitor secondary market activity, including auction results, dealer listings, wholesale transactions, manufacturer performance, emerging technologies, and industry trends that may impact equipment values.
  • Develop market intelligence and valuation recommendations to support underwriting, pricing, credit, portfolio management, and structuring decisions.
  • Evaluate portfolio concentrations and asset-specific exposures, identifying potential impairment or residual value risk and recommending appropriate valuation adjustments.
  • Assess asset quality, marketability, expected recovery, and time-to-disposition, and develop appropriate exit strategies including refurbishment, redeployment, remarketing, or liquidation.
  • Prepare valuation reports, residual reviews, portfolio analyses, and management presentations, while maintaining supporting asset data, valuation tools, and market reference information.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, dealers, brokers, auction companies, appraisers, and other industry specialists to remain current on equipment and secondary market trends.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on equipment valuation and residual risk, partnering across the organization to support business growth and portfolio performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in the equipment leasing and finance industry required, preferably within Asset Management or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of equipment valuation practices, methodologies, market trends, and sales channels.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis, along with proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead process improvements and coordinate complex, cross-functional initiatives.
