Senior Valuation Associate (Private Equity) - 26747

Senior Valuation Associate - Boston, MA - Private Equity

Our team is working with a leading private equity fund in their Boston office to hire a Senior Valuation Associate for their growing team. The Senior Valuation Associate will be responsible for quarterly valuations of portfolio companies in accordance with ASC 820. Additionally, you will collaborate with finance, investment, and investor relations teams on various financial planning and analysis projects, including fund performance analysis, LP requests, fundraising, and benchmarking.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with valuation analysis of portfolio companies across sectors such as media, communications, education, and technology.
  • Prepare materials for financial reporting and fundraising.
  • Support new fund launches and respond to investor due diligence requests.
  • Create ad hoc reports for various departments, including senior leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA preferred but not required.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical, comprehension, and problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
