Job summary

Deloitte’s Valuation & Analytics team seeks a Specialist Senior Assistant to help price financial instruments and perform rigorous valuation analyses. You’ll review data, develop models, and support engagements across asset classes, contributing to client deliverables and internal initiatives.

You’ll work with audit teams, liaising with professionals to synthesize market insights, build scalable valuation tools, and stay current on market trends and technology-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, business analytics, math, economics, finance, or related field.
• 1+ years of related professional or school experience.
• Ability to communicate basic financial modeling and valuation concepts clearly.
• Commutable distance to a Deloitte office with ability to travel 25% on average.
• Willingness to co-locate with team members or clients as required.

Responsibilities

• Independently pricing a variety of financial instruments.
• Reviewing data to support valuation analyses.
• Supporting valuation analyses of portfolio companies, equity securities, debt investments, and complex capital structures.
• Conducting industry and market research to inform valuation conclusions.
• Building and maintaining financial models, valuation schedules, and analytical tools.
• Performing sensitivity and scenario analyses on key assumptions.
• Preparing audit support documentation for valuations.
• Collaborating with audit teams across industries and clients.
• Coordinating assignments, meeting deadlines, and reporting progress to seniors.
