Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking a Valuation Analyst to join the VARS department, supporting valuations of non-agency mortgage assets, RMBS, ABS, and related fixed income instruments for a diverse client base.

The role involves maintaining valuation models and data sets, and independently managing projects. In-office two days per week, Denver area location, with opportunities for growth within valuation and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
• CFA or demonstrated progress towards CFA designation preferred.
• 2-4 years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically at an Analyst level role or external equivalent.
• Strong data management skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of relevant mortgage related financial and fixed-income topics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to summarize complex topics for presentation to clients.
• Team player & ability to multi-task and cross-train as needed based on business demands and performance.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office including strong skills in Excel.
• Familiarity with Intex, Andrew Davidson & Co. (ADCo), SQL, and Python preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produces valuation analyses of non-agency mortgage whole loans (non-QM, RTL, HELOC, 2nds, and jumbo), RMBS, ABS, and unsecured consumer loans for clients.
• Assist in the maintenance of valuation models and data sets as needed.
• Manages and executes certain projects independently.
• Such other activities as may be assigned by your manager.
