Job summary

ALSO is seeking a Sr. Validation & Tools Engineer to validate web and cloud systems across the connected e-mobility platform. You will design and execute manual and automated tests for web apps, APIs, and cloud integrations while validating telemetry and end-to-end connectivity.

You will collaborate with web, cloud, and firmware teams to build scalable validation frameworks, dashboards, and CI/CD pipelines, driving faster release velocity and quality across hardware and software components.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years experience in software validation and hands-on programming.
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and cloud-based systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python or similar for automation and data validation.
• Familiarity with AWS or equivalent cloud ecosystem.
• Experience designing an end-to-end test that covers multiple systems and codebases.
• Exposure to data validation and IoT testing preferred.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across firmware, cloud, and web teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manual and automated test suites covering the full user journey on Also’s digital systems.
• Create automation frameworks to test web UI, APIs, and cloud integrations.
• Partner with web, cloud, and firmware teams to design end-to-end system validation.
• Build and maintain dashboards and analytics to visualize vehicle telemetry and OTA update metrics.
• Collaborate to identify, reproduce, triage, and resolve bugs quickly.
• Contribute to a CI/CD testing pipeline for fast feedback loops.
• Manage SIL and HIL test environments for SW/HW integration with the cloud backend.
• Define metrics and automated reports to drive system stability.
