Job summary

ALSO. is seeking a Sr. Staff Validation & Tools Engineer focused on Embedded Firmware and Software Validation.

You will own the validation strategy, tooling architecture, and system-level quality for flagship products. This is a hands-on role requiring a 0 to 1 mindset and strong collaboration across hardware, firmware, systems, product, and cloud teams. You will build and scale validation frameworks, develop automated test tooling in Python, and integrate validation workflows into CI/CD

Qualifications

• PhD or degree in software/embedded fields is not required but preferred.
• Experience leading validation strategy for embedded, automotive, mobility, IoT platforms.
• Strong programming, scripting, and automation background.

Responsibilities

• Define technical vision and roadmap for embedded firmware and software validation.
• Design, scale, and maintain SIL and HIL validation infrastructure.
• Build and evolve validation frameworks to improve test coverage and release readiness.
• Establish validation metrics and quality reporting across firmware and software releases.
• Lead end-to-end validation planning for new features and firmware releases.
• Mentor engineers in validation strategy, debugging, and automation best practices.
