Job summary

GILLIG is seeking an experienced Product Validation Manager to lead a developing team in Pleasanton, CA. You will operationalize and connect validation methodologies and tools to verify system levels of the V-model and ensure the highest quality and reliability of our product lines.

This hands-on, on-site role reports to the Director of Validation and requires strong technical leadership to own validation execution across components and systems, drive issue resolution with design and supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline; Master’s degree a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive engineering and management experience.
• Operational knowledge of embedded controls and software for powertrains and vehicle subsystems.
• Familiarity with standards: FMVSS, SAE, ISO 26262, ISO 21434.

Responsibilities

• Own validation execution for components and systems across physical and virtual environments.
• Lead root-cause investigations and drive corrective actions with design and supplier teams.
• Own the TIR and VSR processes and maintain metrics to guide improvements.
• Document lessons learned and ensure traceability from requirements to test results.
