Job summary

AMSC is seeking a candidate to join the SPS production group focused on vacuum processing, leak checking, and precise measurements of components and systems. The role requires knowledge of vacuum systems and related components, with emphasis on setup, maintenance, and measurement tasks.

The ideal candidate has an AS degree or equivalent with 5–10 years of relevant manufacturing experience and familiarity with vacuum pumps and sensors used in production equipment.

Qualifications

• AS degree in a related field and/or 5–10 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Experience with vacuum roughing pumps, blowers, turbo pumps, cryogenic vacuum pumps and vacuum sensors preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining vacuum equipment in a manufacturing facility.
• High school education required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and breakdown of vacuum systems/products.
• Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Follow written policies, procedures, and work instructions for vacuum processing, leak checking, and measurements.
• Long-term projects include equipment upgrades and implementation.
