Job summary

SteerBridge is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the operations and technology functions supporting Medical Disability Claims (MDC). This senior leader will drive performance, delivery, and modernization of MDC operations, with direct VA IT project experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience managing complex programs, operations, technology organizations, or a combination thereof.
• Direct experience working with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) on IT projects or related federal programs.
• Proven ability to connect technology strategy to business and mission outcomes.
• Experience leading large, multi-disciplinary teams with executive reporting.
• Strong understanding of federal IT project delivery and contracting environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for MDC operations, technology, program delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Lead cross-functional teams spanning operations, technology, program management, quality and reporting.
• Own program execution including scope, schedule, budget, staffing and risk management.
• Serve as a senior point of contact for VA stakeholders and establish trusted relationships.
• Translate requirements into technology roadmaps and measurable outcomes with government partners.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, quality measures and program health indicators.
• Direct governance, status reporting, executive briefings and stakeholder communications.
