Job summary

Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a Sr. UX Visual Designer to join the centralized PVXD studio.

You will shape the visual experience across living room, mobile, web, and tablet surfaces for global markets. This role sits at the intersection of brand expression, systems thinking, and experience prototyping, collaborating with motion designers, engineers, product managers, and researchers to deliver high-quality visuals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of design experience.
• Have an available online portfolio.
• Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity.
• Experience directly working with engineering teams.
• Bachelor's degree or above in graphic design, interactive design, or equivalent.
• Strong prototyping skills with ability to create high-fidelity interactive prototypes (ProtoPie, Principle, Figma prototyping, Rive, or equivalent).
• Experience designing for entertainment, media, or content-rich consumer products across multiple platforms (mobile, web, TV/living room).
• Strong proficiency in Figma, including component architecture, design tokens, and library management.
• Experience collaborating with motion designers — providing visual direction that informs motion behavior and reviewing motion work for brand coherence.
• Experience contributing to visual brand guidelines and translating brand identity into product-level visual language.

Responsibilities

• Visual Design Craft & Execution: refine visual design language for product experience across platforms.
• Design System Contribution: extend visual foundations of the design system (Fable).
• Prototyping & Experience Visualization: create high-fidelity prototypes to communicate vision and validate ideas.
• Complex Problem Solving: tackle multi-faceted design challenges with strong judgement.
• Motion Design Partnership: collaborate with motion designers to ensure cohesive visual/motion work.
• Engineering Collaboration & Hand-off: work with engineers for feasible, high-fidelity implementations.
• Design System Adoption: drive adoption and participate in system-level reviews.
• Mentorship & Craft Elevation: mentor peers and raise craft standards.
• Cross-Team Influence: provide visual perspectives to inform product direction.
