Job summary

Halogen Engineering Group is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in UX/UI with extensive experience to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems. The role emphasizes requirement analysis, system design input, and leadership of software teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a demanding environment.

The position requires TS/SCI with a current polygraph, onsite work in Columbia, MD, and a salary range of 210K–222K USD annually. Travel is minimal and the shift is Day.

Qualifications

Twenty (20) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure the work is completed in accordance with the software development process.
