THE ROLE:

The UX/UI Product Design Consultant will collaborate with development teams to envision and design desktop, web, and mobile applications.

You enjoy solving complex challenges and thinking outside the box. Strong communication skills are essential for understanding client requirements and making presentations.

This is a freelance role with sporadic engagements of varying scope and duration. This is not a full-time position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Defining User Experience: Managing the flow, layout, data visualizations, and interactions for assigned projects.
• Problem Solving & Innovation: Collaborating with clients to address workflow challenges, developing visualizations, and identifying essential tools and features.
• Client Collaboration & Iteration: Sketching, presenting, and refining designs in real-time, incorporating feedback efficiently.
• Exposure & Adaptability: Gaining broad exposure to diverse business areas and technologies, quickly learning new skills, and building rapport with end-users.
• Project Delivery: Working with product and development teams to deliver designs aligned with timelines and client goals.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• 8+ years in UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, or Information Architecture, with process-driven expertise.
• Experience in user research, sketching, wireframing, and UI/Visual design.
• Strong interest in solving real-world business problems.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
• Effective communication and influence skills.
• Determination, positivity, resourcefulness, and independence.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Information Architecture, Visual Communication, or related fields is preferred.
