Job summary

Voldex Games seeks a Senior UX/UI Designer to shape Brookhaven’s discovery, navigation, and interaction. You’ll lead UX/UI, simplifying menus, designing mobile-first interfaces, and partnering with product, design, art, and engineering to build intuitive experiences for millions of players.

As the first dedicated UX/UI designer, you’ll establish foundations, document standards, and work across teams to deliver features that feel cohesive and polished, with a focus on player-first experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a UI/UX or product designer, owning both UX and UI on shipped work in games or consumer mobile apps
• A portfolio showing process (research, player flows, information architecture, wireframes) and polished, high-fidelity UI
• Shipped mobile-first work with strong tap targets and touch interaction
• Strong information architecture skills for organizing complex products
• Strong visual design skills and clear UI component viewpoint
• Experience using player data, research, and community feedback to inform design decisions
• Excellent communication and collaboration across product, game design, art, and engineering
• Ability to work collaborative hours aligned to EST and PST time zones (prefer PST)

Responsibilities

• Own Brookhaven's UI and UX end to end from first session to hundredth
• Audit current UI and map core player journeys
• Combine data, feedback, research to identify UX problems and prioritize with Product Lead
• Define information hierarchy and flows
• Produce wireframes, annotated flows, and prototypes for art and engineering
• Design high-fidelity screens and reusable UI components with layout rules
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure implementation matches design intent
• Measure UX impact post-launch and iterate
• Establish UI/UX standards and documentation for new features
