Aptima Inc. is seeking a UX Engineer to create next-generation user experiences for production web applications.

You will collaborate with UX researchers, designers, and customers to define features, prototype interactions, and evolve design systems for scalable dashboards. The role emphasizes front-end development using React/Angular/TypeScript, building accessible UI components, and delivering polished, user-centered applications with a strong emphasis on usability and performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical or STEM field required.
Experience with React, Angular, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
Proven ability to design and deliver clear UX design artifacts.
Experience creating design systems and scalable UI components.
Strong prototyping and client-facing collaboration skills.
Portfolio showing front-end engineering work.
Public code samples on GitHub or similar.
Willingness to travel when needed.
Eligibility for U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

Front-End Application Development using React/Angular/TypeScript; responsive, accessible UI components.
UX prototyping: rapid iterations with designers and customers; design system maintenance.
Collaborate with UX researchers, designers, and engineers to translate concepts into code.
Develop enterprise-grade front-end software across full development lifecycle; debugging and enhancements.
