Job summary

Google seeks a Senior UX Engineer to shape AI-first browser experiences in the Disco project. You will own high-fidelity UI, drive rapid prototyping, and collaborate with Design, Research, and Product to translate ambitious ideas into testable, scalable interfaces.

You will work across disciplines to build tools that accelerate UX teams, bridging design and engineering for efficient execution and impact. A portfolio demonstrating strong front-end craft is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience in front-end development, technical UX design, or prototyping.
Experience in application development in web/iOS/Android/CompDes/XR.
Experience architecting and delivering applications.

Responsibilities

Own the craft and visual design of key AI-native browser surfaces, shipping high-fidelity UI with complex interactions.
Drive rapid prototyping and real-time collaboration within the Disco vehicle to explore novel concepts.
Collaborate with Research, Design, and Product, and with partners like Google DeepMind to scope and iterate on concepts based on user feedback.
Set the technical standard for front-end craft, polish, and animation quality across the team and contribute to tooling to accelerate AI‑assisted workflows.
