Job summary

PTR Global in Downtown Chicago is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join the Core UX team on a long-term contract basis. You will shape best-in-class digital customer experiences across the travel journey, with focus on consumer-facing web, native mobile, and eCommerce experiences.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of UX experience, a strong portfolio of consumer web/mobile work, and a collaborative approach to partner with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX/Product Design experience; 8+ years preferred.
• Strong portfolio of consumer-facing web and native mobile work.
• Experience with eCommerce, transactional, booking, or loyalty experiences.
• Experience designing at scale with design systems and prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end experiences across web and mobile apps.
• Create intuitive interactions and micro-interactions.
• Develop user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Contribute to scalable components within design systems.
• Translate research and business requirements into design solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, and stakeholders.
• Present design decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
• Incorporate usability testing and feedback into iterations.
• Ensure alignment with brand, UX, and accessibility standards.
