Job summary

Target’s Global UX team is seeking a Senior UX Designer to translate guest insights and business opportunities into clear experience direction. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to map journeys, align teams, and deliver scalable guest experiences across channels.

This role blends strong design craft with systems thinking, supporting senior team members and ensuring inclusive, high-quality outcomes for Target’s guests and stores.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in UX with a portfolio demonstrating strong design thinking and systems awareness.
• Proficiency in service design methods (journey mapping, ecosystem modeling, service blueprinting).
• Experience working within cross-functional teams and navigating complexity.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to UX strategy and vision for multi-touchpoint guest experiences.
• Create service design artifacts such as journey maps, blueprints, and storyboards to align teams and identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and store operations to align on experience outcomes.
• Participate in design sprints and co-creation sessions to explore, prototype, and refine new concepts.
• Deliver design work across phases—from early journey concepts to mid-fidelity flows and wireframes.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative data to understand guest needs and prioritize opportunities.
• Maintain high standards of craft with accessibility, interaction patterns, information architecture, and brand alignment.
