Job summary
Amazon in Boston, MA seeks a Senior UX Designer to own end-to-end experiences for a strategic AWS initiative. You will lead design across new and existing solutions, align with cross-functional teams, and drive strategy that scales to a worldwide audience.
You are expected to obsess over customer experience, design with a strong craft, and mentor others while delivering high-impact outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of design experience.
- Bachelor degree in human-computer interaction (HCI) or related discipline.
- Portfolio demonstrating past work across all stages of user experience design.
- Strong foundation in design thinking practices and usability principles.
- Proficient using design software and AI tools.
- Experience creating user flows, lo/high fidelity designs, and prototypes.
- Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture.
- Strong design craft.
Responsibilities
- Lead design for new and existing solutions from conception to execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align on customer problems and product vision.
- Design complex workflows and balance divergent user perspectives across technologies.
