Job summary

Target's Emerging Experiences team is shaping future guest experiences across digital and physical touchpoints. As a Senior UX Designer, you’ll translate guest insights and business opportunities into clear experience direction, collaborating with product, engineering, brand, stores, and strategy to create scalable, human-centered solutions.

You’ll map journeys, craft service blueprints, and contribute to design sprints, delivering work from early concepts to mid-fidelity flows.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of UX design experience with a portfolio showing strong thinking and systems awareness.
• Proficiency in service design methods (journey mapping, ecosystem modeling, blueprints).
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and communicating with non-design stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to UX strategy and vision for multi-touchpoint guest experiences.
• Create journey maps, blueprints, and storyboards to align teams and identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and stores to align on outcomes.
• Participate in design sprints to prototype and refine new concepts.
• Deliver design work across phases from concepts to mid-fidelity flows.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative data to understand guest needs and prioritize.
• Maintain high craft standards for accessibility, IA, and brand alignment.
