Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior UX Designer for YouTube Shorts Creation to transform complex tasks into intuitive experiences. You will craft flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, collaborating with engineering and product teams to bring magical creations to life with a user-centered approach.

You will apply design methods from concept to execution, evolving the Google design language, and partnering with teams to create industry-leading experiences powered by generative AI tools.

Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience in a complex, cross-functional organization.
2 years of experience leading design projects.
Experience with rapid prototyping and generative AI platforms.

Responsibilities

Design feature experiences for Shorts Creation Tools on YouTube.
Collaborate with UX researchers to understand trends and needs and iterate on design solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders across YouTube to contribute to design principles and guidelines.
Build high-fidelity, interactive prototypes using Figma and Google AI Studio.
Design across multiple surfaces and touchpoints with cross-functional collaboration.

Education

Master's degree in Design, HCI, CS, or related field
