Job summary

CarGurus is looking for a Senior User Experience Designer in Boston, MA, who will lead the evolution of our design system to enhance product development efficiency across all platforms. With at least 7 years of UX design experience, including proficiency in Figma and knowledge of HTML/CSS, you will support design teams, identify usage gaps, and maintain design system integrity. Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in UX/product design, including 4 years with design systems.
• Proven expertise with Figma variables and component architecture.
• Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA).
• Hands-on experience with design token pipelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of design system for product development.
• Collaborate with Engineering on system implementation.
• Identify and address gaps in system usage.
• Govern the contribution process for design updates.
