Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior UX Manager to shape the core consumer experience and enterprise messaging initiatives powered by Rich Communication Services (RCS) for Business. You will partner with Product Management and Engineering to deliver intuitive, scalable design solutions and mentor a team of designers across regions.

You will guide careers, transform complex workflows into simple experiences, and advocate for craft excellence, brand, and execution as part of a multidisciplinary leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in product design or UX.
• 5 years of experience leading design projects and managing people or teams.
• 3 years of experience designing for consumer products.
• Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Responsibilities

• Influence stakeholders across organizations to gain support for design strategies.
• Own improvements in design based on UX testing and stakeholder input, providing guidance and expertise to effectively engage stakeholders on product design to achieve product goals.
• Manage a distributed team of ~8 designers split across the US and EU.
• Guide the development and delivery of overall business strategy, leaning in with UX skills and user empathy for strong, jointly owned outcomes.
• Continue to lead this team through AI transformation, focusing on quality, depth, and ongoing curiosity.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
