Job summary

Oracle America, Inc. is seeking a UX designer to create, evaluate, and modify prototypes supporting evolving software and hardware development.

You will analyze user needs and apply usability processes to develop compelling software solutions, providing usability support to product teams and producing detailed specifications. Telecommuting options may be available, with collaboration across design and engineering.

Qualifications

Design research, including discovery, usability, evaluation and prioritization, analysis and communication
Design systems, applying libraries correctly, advocating for Enhancement Requests using Figma Design
Competitive research
Design thinking, including framing, journey maps, ideation, and cross-functional facilitation
Design operations, including intake, project planning, reviews, cross-discipline roles, and reusable templates
Information architecture, including targeted research, page or flow diagramming
UI/UX prototyping and design with Figma, Jira and Confluence; documentation and developer collaboration
Graphic design using Figma

Responsibilities

Create, evaluate and modify prototypes to support evolving hardware and software development
Analyze user needs and apply usability processes to develop software solutions
Provide product usability, evaluation and support to product development teams
Produce specifications describing user needs and internal structures for products in development
May telecommute and contribute input on user design considerations
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to implement user-centered solutions
Produce design concepts and implementation input for product features using Figma and related tools
