Trideum Corporation seeks a UX/HMI Design Engineer to craft user-centered UI for a complex, integrated software ecosystem. The role emphasizes thoughtful UX across software, systems, and test teams to deliver cohesive workflows.

You will design UI/UX solutions for interconnected components, collaborating with engineers and SMEs. The position is based in Huntsville, AL with a hybrid schedule (in-office 4 days/week, remote 1 day/week).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in UX design or related field and 4+ years of UX/UI experience.
Experience designing enterprise-scale applications with complex workflows.
Strong portfolio demonstrating UX design process.
Proficiency with Figma or similar tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Create wireframes, prototypes, and UI mockups using industry-standard tools.
Develop and maintain UI component libraries and design system elements for consistent interfaces.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research; apply UX practices for complex systems.
Produce UX artifacts (models, maps, task models) as needed.
Collaborate with software and systems engineers, testers and SMEs to align UI with system requirements.
Translate technical concepts into user-friendly, efficient design solutions.
Document interface behaviors to support integration efforts.
Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and stay current on industry trends.
Travel: Less than 25%.
