RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Greensboro, NC seeks a Sr. Chemist - UV Segment Leader to serve as the technical lead for UV wood coatings, driving innovation, formulation development, and project execution across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in waterborne UV and 100% solids UV technologies, strong leadership skills, and a passion for developing products and people within a collaborative, safety‑conscious lab culture.

Competenze

• Minimum 5+ years in industrial formulation, preferably coatings or related technologies.
• Proven experience developing and commercializing UV-curable coatings.
• Strong background in waterborne UV, solvent-reduced UV, and 100% solids UV formulations.

• Lead UV coatings technology and act as SME for related projects.
• Direct formulation development and project execution from inception to commercialization.
• Mentor chemists and lab staff while collaborating with Commercial, Manufacturing, and R&D.
• Guide technical strategy and evaluate new materials and market trends.
