Job summary

Sol Systems is seeking a full-time Utility Scale Project Manager based in Washington, DC, with hybrid work options. You will oversee utility-scale solar projects from pre-NTP through Commercial Operation, coordinating EPCs, owners’ engineers, and partners to deliver on schedule, budget, and quality.

The role requires 5+ years in energy or renewable energy, a Bachelor’s degree, and experience as Owner/Owner’s Rep or with a GC. Strong organizational and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 5+ years in energy or renewable energy sector.
• Experience as Owner/Owner’s Rep or with a General Contractor.
• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution from NTP through Final Completion, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, Owner’s Engineers, and stakeholders to drive accountability and resolve issues.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust project schedules; identify and mitigate risks to protect milestones.
