ACRT, Inc. is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester 4 to join the team in California. The role focuses on advanced vegetation management along utility lines, supervising complex circuits, and coordinating with contractors and stakeholders in an outdoor environment.

The CUF 4 will require strong technical knowledge, decision-making, and the ability to manage field scenarios while ensuring client and regulatory compliance. Training and safety protocols are emphasized throughout the role.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Four (4) years of related arboricultural/vegetation management experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• CPR/First Aid certification (required prior to start)

Responsibilities

• Patrol distribution and transmission circuits for vegetation management.
• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and vegetation.
• Prescribe tree trimming/removal per client standards.
• Map circuits using client continuity lists.
• Enter prescriptions and data into handheld devices and systems.
• Notify property owners and obtain permissions when required.
• Track work progress and manage documentation.
• Perform outage investigations for complex field scenarios.
