Job summary

ACRT Pacific, LLC. is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester 4 to lead advanced vegetation management inspections and prescriptions along utility lines. The role requires coordinating with contractors, clients, and regulators while ensuring compliance in outdoor field environments.

The CUF 4 reports to Operations Manager and emphasizes strong decision-making, technical knowledge, and effective communication with stakeholders and customers. Travel to project sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• 4 years of arboricultural/vegetation management experience.
• 21+ years of age.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• CPR/First Aid certification (required prior to start).
• ISA Certified Arborist (preferred or can obtain).
• Experience with GIS, data collection tools, and utility systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently patrol distribution and/or transmission circuits, including complex or high-priority areas.
• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and vegetation.
• Prescribe tree trimming and removal work per client standards.
• Map circuits using client continuity lists.
• Enter prescriptions and data into handheld devices.
• Notify property owners and obtain permissions.
• Track work progress and maintain documentation.
• Perform outage investigations and support complex field scenarios.
• Coordinate vegetation management across assigned areas.
