Job summary

Qualifications

Experience in planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing policy and technical research related to safety and reliability of energy infrastructure.
Ability to prepare complex technical and policy reports and make recommendations for management.
Knowledge of General Orders and Public Utilities Code.
Experience interpreting and synthesizing complex data to support decisions.
Experience developing and enforcing facility operations, safety regulations, and related standards.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, update, implement, and enforce operation and safety standards for electric generating facilities and energy storage systems.
Conduct complex technical research and policy analysis of energy facilities in California.
Provide guidance and recommendations to management based on data and regulatory requirements.
