Job summary

National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) seeks an analyst to lead cross-functional groups to gather complex business requirements and translate them into software configurations, reports, or automated workflows. The ideal candidate will write SQL queries in Oracle and/or SQL Server and build Power BI reports.

You will collect, clean, analyze, and interpret data to support NACWA and its public-water initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders across departments to deliver actionable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration or a related field.
• Five (5) years of experience performing financial, administrative, or business analysis which must include analytical experience working in a utility setting.
• Note: An equivalent combination of related training and experience may be considered
• Possess and maintain a valid Nevada or “border state” driver’s license, as defined by NRS 483
• Desirable: Master’s degree in a related field
• Desirable: Experience in teambuilding and creating consensus among stakeholders
• Desirable: Certificate of training in asset management
• Desirable: Certified Business Analyst

They will be skilled in writing SQL queries (in Oracle and/or SQL Server) and Power BI reports. They will also have a proven track record of collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data.
