Job summary

JPMorganChase's US Rates Strategy team in New York City is seeking an Executive Director-level strategist to lead content and deepen senior client engagement. You will partner with Sales & Trading and cross-asset research to deliver actionable ideas across US Treasuries, TIPS, and money markets.

This front-office, fast-paced role requires outstanding analytical judgment and exceptional writing and communication skills, with significant travel for client meetings and conferences.

Qualifications

• Significant markets experience in US rates and money markets (UST cash, bills, repo).
• Demonstrated thought leadership with differentiated views for sophisticated audiences.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills; ability to build and maintain market models and datasets.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex topics to senior clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions (Economics, cross-asset strategy, Sales & Trading) under time pressure.
• Comfort working with large datasets using Excel, Python, and market data platforms; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and author flagship research, timely market commentary, and thematic deep-dives across US rates markets.
• Develop strategy frameworks (relative value, curve, carry/roll, term premium) including key risks.
• Partner with Economics and cross-asset teams to formulate and articulate forecasts and views.
• Engage with Sales & Trading to incorporate market color and support client dialogue.
• Build analytical frameworks, models, and datasets to drive differentiated insights.
• Build senior institutional client mindshare through high-quality written work, podcasts/webinars, and client meetings.
• Mentor and develop junior strategists/analysts, setting standards for research quality and timeliness.
