Baillie Gifford is seeking a seasoned Trader for North America with extensive US equity and ETF experience. The role reports to the Head of Trading and collaborates with ETF Capital Markets to manage orders, risk, and execution quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
5+ years of trading experience, with a focus on U.S. Equities and ETF’s.
Strong understanding of equity market structure, order types, algorithmic strategies, and execution analytics.

Responsibilities

Trade cash instruments and derivatives with client interests first.
Challenge processes and contribute to trading system development.
Support and contribute to the long-term strategic vision for the trading function.
Mentor and train colleagues as part of CPD program.
