Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud Financials Solution Architect to join our team in the United States. You will lead architectural design and end-to-end Oracle Cloud ERP implementations, partnering with clients to ensure successful delivery and ongoing growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in ERP, strong Oracle Cloud Financials experience, and a track record of leading large-scale public sector projects.

Qualifications

• 10 years ERP implementation experience.
• Senior Solution Architect on at least 2 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementations in the USA.
• Public Sector domain experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of GASB Accounting, Encumbrance, Fund, Projects and Grants Accounting.
• Hands-on technologist in Oracle Cloud Financials.
• Exposure to other Cloud modules like SCM and HCM is a plus.
• Strong communication, initiative, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials implementations for client engagements.
• Lead solution design and full implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP projects, including prototyping and hands-on development as needed.
• Ensure proposed solutions meet client requirements, are architecturally sound, and align with portfolio offerings.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to manage requirements and traceability.
• Lead testing cycles, develop testing scenarios, cases and scripts.
• Offer technical oversight for estimates, SOWs, and project plans.
• Identify opportunities for new or follow-on work and assist in change orders.
• Contribute to practice growth and presales through architectural demos and proposals.
