UrgentVet is seeking a Senior Veterinary Assistant for our Midlothian urgent care hospital. You will deliver high-quality patient care, assist with team leadership, and provide exceptional client service in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role requires on-site presence, flexibility for shifts including evenings and weekends, and the ability to train staff and support onboarding in a state-of-the-art clinic. Join a collaborative team dedicated to compassionate animal care.

Qualifications

• Animal handling including restraint, sampling and monitoring.
• Clinical skills including phlebotomy, catheter placement, lab analysis, and drug calculation.
• Additional duties including facility maintenance and client education.

• Lead a team and contribute to staff training.
