QB Energy Operating LLC in Colorado seeks a Senior Revenue/Regulatory Accountant to join our Revenue team. This role focuses on accurate ONRR reporting and booking oil and gas revenue and accruals, demanding strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of upstream revenue oil and gas accounting experience.
• Minimum 5 years of ONRR 2014 preparation experience for natural gas, with knowledge of Form 2014 submissions.
• Experience with BOLO or similar oil and gas accounting platforms.
• Strong understanding of oil and gas revenue cycles and accrual methodology.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large data sets)

Responsibilities

• Record oil and gas revenue accurately and reconcile cash receipts.
• Book monthly accruals based on volume and pricing data.
• Prepare ONRR Form 2014 submissions and support compliance reviews.
• Perform monthly close activities for revenue (journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis).
• Collaborate with Land, Operations, and Marketing to ensure accurate revenue data.
• Identify and address revenue discrepancies; support process improvements and automation.
