Job summary

EOG Resources in Midland, Texas seeks a Production Analyst to set up new wells and production changes, manage volumes, and prepare regulatory filings with Texas Railroad Commission, New Mexico Oil & Gas, and ONRR.

You will work with revenue accounting, production operations, and field personnel, reconciling volumes daily and ensuring data integrity in PROCOUNT, CARTE, and eVIN, with a bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of production experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 3–5 years of production experience is desirable.
• Experience with PROCOUNT/CARTE/eVIN or similar systems preferred.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Analytical, detail-oriented with data integrity focus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with field personnel and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Set up new wells and production changes in the production accounting system.
• Analyze and reconcile daily/monthly volumes for gas, oil and water.
• Prepare monthly volumes for marketing and revenue groups.
• Maintain accuracy and data integrity of PROCOUNT production system.
• Identify and analyze volume discrepancies; troubleshoot and correct.
• Prepare and submit regulatory filings related to production data.
• Ensure internal controls and participate in audits.
• Assist with acquisitions/divestitures related to production data.
• Validate and reconcile oil invoices/statements to run tickets.
• Validate and reconcile off-load systems with sales tickets.
• Input gas volumes from statements; reconcile as needed.
• Research and compile production data for engineers and others.
• Collaborate with field personnel to ensure timely data transmission.
