Job summary

Catalent is seeking a Senior Process Engineer - Manufacturing Sciences & Technology, Upstream Technology Transfer in Madison, WI. The role focuses on transferring processes from development to GMP manufacturing, ensuring robust, compliant operations, and coordinating with cross-functional teams through documentation, modeling, and optimization.

The candidate will work on process modeling, equipment fit assessments, and critical documentation, with on-site work Monday–Friday and a collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 6+ years, or higher for advanced degrees
• Experience in mRNA product development and manufacturing
• Experience authoring technical documentation and SOPs with data support
• Proven leadership in mentoring staff and cross-functional training
• Experience solving deviations and CAPAs in a cGMP environment
• Knowledge of upstream biologics manufacturing and tech transfer across scales

Responsibilities

• Oversee tech transfer between Process Development and Manufacturing.
• Drive facility fit assessments and equipment improvements for biologics processes.
• Prepare and review batch records, protocols, tech transfer reports, and SOPs.
• Lead cross-functional teams across PD, Manufacturing, QA, and QC.
• Provide technical leadership in risk assessments, deviations, and CAPAs.
• Collaborate with clients and internal partners to ensure successful transfers.
