Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers on warranty, sizing, safety, and maintenance.
• Remove/replace batteries and prepare spent batteries for shipment per DOT/EPA.
• Size UPS systems considering space, temperature, maintenance, and performance.
• Ensure EPA/DOT/OSHA compliance in battery rooms.
• Install, maintain, and evaluate UPS modules; perform charger repairs.
• Notify supervisor of equipment not working properly.
• Train helpers to become senior technicians; support on-site safety and best practices.
