SUMMARY

Provide quality, accurate, and timely customer service involving daily processing of financial transactions and opening accounts in a retail banking environment. Introduce bank products and services through outreach to prospects and provide tailored recommendations to existing clients to deepen relationships. Perform related duties such as outbound sales calls to achieve banking center goals and support management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales and service

• Support teller and platform functions to minimize client wait times and deliver excellent customer service, including processing deposits, handling currency, coins, and checks, and opening deposit accounts.
• Identify client needs through consultative conversations and recommend suitable products and services.
• Open and process new demand and time deposit accounts, including savings, IRAs, CDs, and money market accounts.
• Cross-sell and refer clients to bank partners to generate new business and deepen relationships.
• Make outbound calls to clients and prospects, especially during campaigns.
• Assist clients with loan applications and coordinate processing with relevant associates.

Client experience

• Research and resolve account issues and respond to inquiries.
• Deliver consistent, excellent client service and promptly address issues.
• Enhance knowledge through training and educational meetings.

Compliance and risk management

• Adhere to bank regulations, policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Operational efficiency

• Assist with daily operations, including audit controls.
• Support onboarding and training of new associates.
• Stay updated on operational changes to ensure compliance.
• Reliable transportation required; travel may be necessary.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of teller experience preferred.

COMPUTER AND OFFICE SKILLS

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic use of 10-key calculator and coin counter

• Not required.

Hours:

• Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 4:15 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:15 PM
