Job summary

BankUnited is seeking a Teller who handles cash and transactions with accuracy, aiming for 100% client satisfaction. The role balances cash, processes deposits and withdrawals, and promotes bank products to meet branch goals. You will cross-train on Platform functions to assist clients with related activities.

Candidate should have 2–3 years of cash handling experience, excellent customer service, and sales skills. Training is provided across Teller and Platform duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of cash handling experience (preferably Teller).
• Excellent customer service, sales, risk management and cash operations experience preferred.
• Must be fully trained in both Teller and Platform functions.

Responsibilities

• Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount, and examines checks for endorsements.
• Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
• Enters customers' transactions into computer to record transactions, and issues receipts.
• Places holds on accounts as appropriate.
• Balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift.
