Job summary

Millbury Federal Credit Union in Worcester, MA, is seeking a Sr. Universal Banker (III) to lead branch activities and deliver superior member service. The role requires strong leadership, product knowledge, and the ability to drive referrals and sales.

The position emphasizes compliance, training staff, and managing daily branch operations while maintaining confidentiality and building community relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service skills both on the phone and in person.
• Perform all types of account maintenance.
• Assess and interpret legal documents, including power of attorneys, court-appointed fiduciaries, trusts, and representative payees. Process all related transactions according to credit union policy and federal / state laws.
• Process, prepare, and close consumer loans.
• Assist management team in educating, coaching, and motivating staff to recognize and fulfill branch referrals and sales goals.
• Establish, develop, and retain relationships with existing and potential members.
• Lead by example. Offer support, guidance, and training to branch team.
• Assist team with managing branch cash flow and reconciliation of the branch, cash vaults, teller cash recycler, ATM, and coin machine. Maintain a cash drawer and / or cash vault as needed.
• Adhere to MCU’s policies and procedures and required banking regulations. Complete annual training to maintain knowledge.
• Uphold a high level of confidentiality and tact.
• Assist in community events to increase the credit union’s outreach and foster new business opportunities.
• Assume additional responsibilities as requested.
