Job summary

Forever Young Salon & Barber is seeking an experienced Unisex Stylist/Barber to join our growing team in Connecticut. This is a part-time W-2 role with commission-based compensation and a guaranteed minimum base, plus paid vacation and growth opportunities.

We require 5+ years of experience, CT license, and basic Spanish to greet clients and understand service requests. Expect to expand offerings with color and extensions as the client base grows, in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Connecticut as a cosmetologist or barber.
• 5+ years of salon/barbering experience.
• Proficient in haircutting and styling with professional tools.
• Basic Spanish to greet clients and support bilingual community.

Responsibilities

• Provide haircutting and styling services for all genders.
• Perform clipper-cutting including fades and blending.
• Conduct client consultations and recommend styles.
• Provide shampooing, blow-drying and finishing services.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build client relationships.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
