Job summary

SAIC in Chantilly, VA, seeks an experienced Unified Communications Engineer (SETA) to oversee a global voice and video enterprise deployment across CUCM, Jabber, MeetMe, and Teams. The role includes advising on cloud integration with on-prem UC infrastructure and supporting multiple service provider contracts.

The successful candidate will develop strategic roadmaps, perform vendor evaluations, and produce technical deliverables such as SOWs, roadmaps, and briefings for government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen required.
• Active TS/SCI POLY required.
• Bachelor's in STEM with 9+ years of experience (or equivalent).
• Master's in STEM with 7+ years of experience (or equivalent).
• Certifications such as CCNP Collaboration, CCIE Collaboration, Microsoft Teams Administrator, Azure Administrator or PMP are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight as SME between vendors and government stakeholders for globally deployed UC services.
• Advise on CUCM, Jabber, MeetMe, Teams, and cloud integration across on-prem and cloud platforms.
• Develop multi-year technology roadmaps for voice and video enterprise and assess new UC options.
• Engage stakeholders to elicit requirements and translate into CONOPs and user stories.
• Manage program activities, vendor performance, PMRs, and lifecycle documentation.
• Ensure QA, change management, and adherence to contract requirements.
