Job summary

Oxford Risk Management Group seeks a Senior Underwriting Specialist to autonomously underwrite complex Commercial Casualty risks with emphasis on Commercial Auto, CGL, and Excess Liability. You will analyze operations, loss experience, and risk management practices to craft well-supported coverage and pricing decisions.

The role requires strong technical underwriting judgment and the ability to communicate recommendations clearly to clients and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Significant underwriting experience in Commercial Auto, CGL, and Excess Liability.
• Strong knowledge of ISO forms, endorsements, and manuscript forms.

Responsibilities

• Independently underwrites new and renewal Commercial Casualty accounts with emphasis on auto and liability lines.
• Evaluates large, complex risks using financial data, loss history, and risk management practices.
• Develops underwriting recommendations on risk selection, pricing, terms, limits, and exposures.
• Reviews policies and endorsements, ensuring proper application of coverage mechanics across policy layers.
