Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to drive financial analysis and pricing strategies within the PBM and Enterprise teams.

You will work on pricing deployment and provide insights to leadership to improve profitability across Caremark and Aetna clients. You will analyze complex pricing data, develop segment-specific recommendations, and collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Legal to implement contracts.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role, or comparable industry experience.
• Experience with PBM pricing models and enterprise profitability is a plus.
• Strong technical skills in Excel and data analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, finance, statistics, actuarial science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and develop recommendations to maximize client value while retaining margin.
• Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business based on detailed analysis.
• Support Aetna underwriters with downstream pricing data and segment-specific insights.
• Complete tasks in Caremark underwriting models and update FAF systems as needed.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Legal to implement pricing terms and contracts.
