Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Senior Underwriter to help grow our Healthcare Professional Liability products. The role involves managing a book of business, underwriting new and renewal policies, and building strong relationships with stakeholders across the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing our healthcare underwriting platform and policies.
• Contribute to underwriting, profitability, and integrity of Healthcare Professional Liability products.
• Use data analytics to enhance productivity and broker relations.
• Maintain relationships with brokers and clients nationwide.
• Collaborate with Claims and Compliance teams to ensure product performance and adherence to guidelines.
• Deepen understanding of Ascot’s product offerings across all units.
• Handle high volumes of small- to medium-sized risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Understanding of the Property & Casualty insurance market.
• At least 4 years of relevant underwriting experience in Healthcare or Professional Liability.
• Experience with telehealth, life sciences, or medical billing risks is a plus.
• Strong judgment, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Compensation & Benefits: The annual base salary ranges from $110,000 to $140,000, with additional bonuses and benefits including health insurance, paid leave, 401(k), and more.

Employment Details: Full-time, Mid-Senior level role in the Finance and Sales industry within the Insurance sector.
