Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a Senior Underwriter for Primary Casualty to market and underwrite new and renewal submissions in our New York office. You will manage broker relations, participate in client meetings, and drive a robust submission pipeline.

Candidates should have 5+ years of underwriting experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong negotiation skills. Some travel (~20%) is required; CPCU/IIA designations are preferred. Competitive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities may also include participating in special projects and mentoring less experienced staff. This is a 100% in-office position.
